Heres my newer map Its not done yet needs few more fixes/addins/improvements and its my firstly gonna be released map--still fixing the player bounds and theres gonna be a fence across the street too :)

You need to run RAD. Also the map strangely comes to an end, where the ground meets the sky.

the map looks too sqaure and waaay too spontaneous from what there is. first you have to get a good idea of what you want your map to look like, then draw an overview of it, that way you have some direction when making the map. Also you have to give your map a very specific location, like instead of it just being in suburbia, make it on a dead end suburban street that atleast would give closure to one end then you have vto think of another way, be inventive, to close the other. also make sure that the textures don't get scaled up too high, or too low. as is now, the road texture vis scaled too high and the grass is scaled too low.

first of all run rad, and vis in your map, then check if you don't have any leaks.. because that light just sucks! also don't use a hollow box as a skybox just to seal the map, since that encreases compile times. Your brushs look boring, nothing very appeling so far, you should had used displacements on the grass, and the textures look bad also. The interiors look ugly, and crates??? please...

add some displacement to the grass and add an light env wit a nice sun or something.
