i couldnt think of any fitting surroundings for cs_temple so i started making another map this ones named the villa
this is only a PREVIEW show i will post all the screens which im making in my progress

so dont flame me cuz of the texturing lightning or wrong brushes :)
only want oppinions and tips for surrounding maybe pm me or somethn

like i said, i saw it too late and im too lazy to run the compile again..

but rad was running so i dont know what u mean?

but now i have some plants around it so hope itll be better ill post next screens tomorrow i think

Why the hell would you run rad if there are no lights in it? Put in some lights before you show any more screenshots. I personally think that looks horrible.

I think the first screen looks like some weird mecha-bowser type thing....or is it just me? :)

Although we may sound like jerks, we arent, we are just trying to help so your map atleast has a chance of being run

However, to make it look better you simply need to :

1. Beef up with more polys
2. add a Light Envirement
3. add spot light to all the other lights
4. add some models, and make a 3d sky that relates to your map

Next time you should do some more work before you post. I've done a little more and gives 200% more atmosphere don't u think?

haha i think u r right serious i thought after i did somethin

but i assure u its much nicer now but i hate the hours compiling with the Portals and stuff it takes so long but i will post next screens if i have surroundings windows etc u r totally right :)
