dude, tell you what. it aint got anything to do with it being shiney texture or anything.
you have alpha painted the displacement, if you just remove all the dirt alpha from the edge of the little displacement, they should fit properly, and not look b0rked.

and now add puddles, its a decal/overlay not a texture, just search "decal" or "overlay"

Thats because there are no airports nearby.


Hoooweveer, I will do the 3D skybox once I've made the map and it will make it look lots more detailed. (I won't do it now because I am stupid)

There is no tutorial on Interlopers for that. :(

And I don't think you can do it in CS:S anyway.

Shouldn't be hard. go learn, write tut!

map is looking lovely dude, I'm a bit concerned that the textures are all in a very narrow visual range, not much variation. Might make it a bit bland to play on after a while.
