Ok the other post aim_fear is considerably out of date so i decided to make a new post with the new map name and brand new screens. Here are screens of the near-complete final product! I have changed it to mid-morning time and many perforamce and balancing changes too!

Here are the changes of the new version:

- now morning time
- added "orange bloom" to street post. While deleting orange lights, they were ineffective and a waist of rander and compile.
-Turned off ALL dynamic checks on the point_spotlights.
-Tank now has 2 smokestack enties.
-changed to smokestack entitie on the stove in the terrorist kitchen.
-applyed NODRAW textures to (most) unvisible brushes.
-Applyed func_detail too brushes not blocking visiblity. (performace increased in 10fps everywhere.
-Move props many props more to the side or out of paths of players.
changed some props in the computer rooms.
-upstairs is revamped
-all players have a buyzone, no more weapon spawns.
-applyed extra brushes everywhere, more of a 3d effect everywhere!
-added mild displaements on tank terrain, and applyed alpha textures.
-removed a few plants on the terrorist cafe to help performance.
-added light_env (tile are now glossy and reflect!
-added cubemaps in all rooms.
-and more!

I went a little overboard on stating everything, but I really care, even though this is my 3rd map, i want to do the best I know how, and this is the best I can do, weather you hate it or not. And once again plz dont flame it I spent time on this and I learned a ton of stuff, from performace to lighting, I learned a lot and i think i finally call myself an intermediate mapps from n00b-level. And NO i never made a crappy iceworld map, and i hope who ever made that garbage will suffer!

Ok guys, I'm only 15 years old, so be nice to me, and I'm nice to you, even if you have something againt aim and fy, plz dont take that into negative effects on my map. I wanted to make something revolutionary for the genere. Being this age, means that i take critisizem very intolerably, and i feel really bad. plus my spelling aint great.

Something aint right...I dont really know...the layout maybe? It's just strangely...weird. And, yeah, the textures looks a little bit too tiled.

its all VERY random, but it looks like youve put alot of time into it. i dunno what it is, but i like the look of that second last pic.

ok its tiled everywhere, its supposed to be that way, its a abstract fy map. sure you de and cs guys hate that but thats the way its will be.

any way, just like everyone who posed in the old form, you said it looked weird, well i wanna know why, in detail, if it does look weird(yet its supposed to a little).

ill see how it goes in beta test, so far most seemed to of enjoyed it (thank god). in the VERY first beta (the old post and screen shots) some people didnt like it cause it was too dark and too werird. well i made it bright and ridded of that combine shit and themed the textures, and guess what no more complaints.

By weird I probably mean that some stuff looks wayyyy out of place, like the flower thingies and those weird light colors. :shock:

anyway then if i rid of them it will be boring then :(

do u think the streetlamps should not be orange, or should they just be normal light?

orange is fine, but it's just that all these stuff seemed to random, like Serever said. One minute you got a burning APC then you walk around and see orange-ish lamp and flowers?! :shock: It's like there is no single theme to all of these, makes it kinda confusing/chaotic.

Some areas look really, really well done, then some others, blah! Still needs more work. Orange? try something more real world. (fun note- orange does rhyme- door hinge)

Actually I'll have to agree with Serever, the second to last pic is pretty, and looks really good.

The rest is kinda bland but it's better than the last version.

Its an FY map, so far this is the best its ganna get guys...

BTW you guys are ganna love my FY map ive made for april fools day :D :P

I think it looks good in a chaotic way. A lot of work has obviously been put into the map, and it is a good way to learn what works and what does not.

Detail wise, I noticed that the 2 cars in pic 2 are too low and are dissapearing into the ground, maybe move them up a tad...oh yeh..and don't forget to water the flowers :wink:

What is that though in the computer room pic, at the back beside the loud speakers? I cannot make it out.

behind the loudspeaker is the "pole" part of it, and some decal posters.

anyway as far some pics look really good and some look "blah" can anyone plz tell me which ones look good and which ones look blah?

when u guys say u like the second-to-last one are you talking about the cabin one? cause that pic took the least amount of my time to make lol.

Some of the multy colors do look cool, but changing them all to light_spot would make it look ALOT more decent.
