im having a few probs with my lvl at the moment and i was hoping u cud help me
probs:

needs space skybox texture
sliding doors have black sides
needs low gravity(ne1 no how 2 do this without cheat?)
purple water???:( doesnt usually happen on my lvls)
falling bar can be piked up with gravity gun (unwanted)
environment sounds dont work
dull transporter[/list]

Are the doors models because if models go partially into a wall sometimes they get a black side.
needs low gravity

sv_gravity #
800 is normal gravity, 450 would probably be a good low gravity.
environment sounds dont work

make an ambient_generic and make sure it's max audible distace is larger than you need and that its flag to "start off" and "do NOT loop" are not checked.

env_soundscapes are even better. Check out signy's newly submitted (and awefully useful) tutorials on the boards.

About the gravity I believe Raeven0 (Runs editlife.net and regulars at halflife2.net) had some way of overwriting server commands, which could possibly be used to modify gravity without involvation of an admin.

the teleporter is jst a plain box that teleports u no fx
+theres stil a triger gravity bt i dont no how 2 work it

If it's possible to create a gravityvortex (Everything is sucked against it), it suddenly leaves the space to create some awesome mods.

But this isn't possible, is it?

I don't believe you have to have sv_cheats set to 0 to change the gravity... but as far as making the server start out with the gravity set to a specific level I have no idea.

I'm not sure if there's a way to localize the gravity change to a specific map either, but I doubt there is. :(

trigger_gravity

0 = no gravity
1 = normal gravity

anything in between is lowered gravity

I once saw in a map where there was this water block in the middle of the map. Acted kinda like a wierd gravity elevator :D Was cool but vulnerable for an enemy attack. Guess that map could use a tut for gravity materials.

I have not tried it but you could try a brush set to func_push and point it up. You need to set to below a 100 for sure.
