The pipes on the left wall dont connect, the pipes on the back wall go through the ceiling and the wires on the back wall sort of just end.

Just small things easily fixable, still good though :P .

He's got a stronger artistic side than most, and that's all there is to it.

ty for the comments. goood coimments keep me mapping better!

ok heres some answers:

Yes, i know there are some weird "cut offs" and their is a pipe through the celing. But i knew that, because its not done, once i reach the outside of the building, i will have another wall on that side to finish the building.

oh and how did i make the lights shine throug, its point_spotlight in each little square.

oh as far as the fps, chill out, i know hint brushes now, plus i havent func_detailed anything in that screen, plus i run at higher settings that i should 1280*1024 high textures. i personailly think just anything below 30fps is bad, 30fps itself is fine to me. but no, i dont get 30fps :)

that room right there is 50-75 fps for me

well someones a dickhead.

just cause you've got a "stong artistic side", doesnt make entities appear magically in your maps. i was asking what he used. i presume its just a bunch of point_spotlights, but i thought thatd look shit.

DarkMortar, what entity did you use to do that effect? (no retarded answers from other members please :P)

just have your point_spot lights higher so u dont see the edge, luckily the defult 50 width semmed to fit into my square, the thing u should do is just raise them more high. also changing the light color to a light grey

and omg man,, i just learned a great lesson in making that room... that blue light is da way, it fooking works!

red light suks

If you plan on keeping the roof open make some mossy overlays on the floor, that would be cool :D
