Description

Set on a abandoned base in some distant planet
The base was once used by the Terra Corporation, but has since been abandoned after it was found out that the Corporation used practices that were far from ethical to terraform planets

Very near a final release of the map, there are some issues to sort out
1. Barrels hanging in the air
2. Signs that need to be changed to Func_Illusionary
3. Some missing textures
4. etc. etc.

unless you have some awesome texture assets up your sleve your gonna have to get cracking on the geomtry and soon. ITs bland as all heck right now and it'd work with some good textures and a bit of brushwork; however, the theme I'm getting doesn't fit the textures found in HL2 so I suggest a lot of geomtry work to make up for your textures not being able to do a lot of work.

Get some carpets and stuff in there. Make it look all lush and officey.

Make the metal wall texture into metal panels instead of just metal. Same goes for the carbon fiber in the elevator. You did manage to use gray in a sexy way though.

TRIM

your switching between amterial types and edges of textures randomly throughout everything but your never adding any sort of trim between them. You can't lay carpet perfectly so it has a non exsistant gap between it and the light below it. You can't suddenly transition from regular wall to the blocky wall on just an edge, it looks WEIRD. Add some trim in a material around the edge to break up the transition and make it mroe logical.

Also I'd suggest toning down the contrast in the block material it's a little eye bleeding right now.

Thanks Angry Beaver, i have already fixed up the lighting around the bottom of the front desk a couple of days ago, i thought that i didn't look right either
As for the carbon fibre material on the walls it is not the bright when u run the map, and it looks bitter from a distance

how are the lights that look on, off? eitheir add some lights there (ruin your effect) or find a verison that doesn't look on (might be a differnt skin or _off.mdl)

looks good though. bit empty though.

Getting better. You are on the right way! The frames of those cubic windows are way to thick, though.
