Dont speak for everyone please I dont mind those levels but I do hate when someone doesnt take the time to make a good looking map. They didnt go through the trouble of developing a stunning looking game just so people can make plain crappy maps.

If you want people to like these kind of maps you still need to have them be logical and make sense, Plus look extreme in realism. There was an iceworld made that i saw on here that was obviously iceworld but looks spectacular. i would totally play it. i wouldnt play this.

1) map name taken
2) Fy = Fuck Yourself
3) make/use good textures
4) Run Rad
5) Get a 3d sky
6) dont be a douche
7) make something with a new unique layout
be artistic with nice lighting.
9) dont make a "prop sandwich"
10) displacement mapping for SNOW?

How do you know he didnt put any effort in? Just because its bad dsnt mean ppl have tried, you didnt even offer a singal alternative.

Well you guys shouldnt be doing that, but its pretty evident in this post that you do. There little or no constructive crits in this topic, no alternatives offered, no tips.

What was the point guys? Jumping on a new mapper like that, just because you have experiance in mapping dsnt mean you can put ppl who dnt down.

Tbh this whole thread is a big dissapointment.

We all started somewhere, and Interlopers is mean't to be the place to learn - not to get beasted on for making a not so good map. It's a first map ffs. Please don't do anything like this again. Post apologies below

he released his first map and has learned from his mistake (hopefully)
