:D

video was made with fraps

but then compressed with dr divx

reason...

fraps avi file about 800mb for the 2 odd minutes

dr divx compressed that down to 17mb keeping the quality

thanks for the feedback guys/girls

more work to do on it but it's getting there

still can't find an aeroplane model to use for decoration outside tho :?

Error:

Go by the Terminal 6 Sign (where there is a blockade and a fence infront of it.) and you can walk right through the damn thing  fix it

THAT IS SWEET!

But sadly yokai is right, thats the only fault.

::::::Off topic::::::
Is fraps meant to record for only about a minute?
Half of the time I have no clue what i say, but people still listen to me and half my luck what i say turns out to be the problem solver.

mmm loving this one, looks like it could be excellent to play.

Maybe a bit more variation on the indor lighting scheme? some of the less 'public' areas with really dim yellow flourescent tubes, or red lights or something?

And perhaps a bit more filler in the big public areas, departure/arrival screens, more benches, a food cart, some plants etc?

I seem to remember offering to do a plane prop for you when you first posted some wip shots. PM me if you want one, should take a day or two.

It was earth all along

That is better than most of the maps that come with source. I htink it needs a bit more cover on the hallways then it will be sweet :)

:D :D :-D

wicked guys/girls

thanks for all the great feedback

i'm still learning new stuff and trying to implement it in this map (this still being my first one) but...

I'm getting frustrated looking for decent well fitting props to use in this map...

can anyone recommend some standard props to use?? ones that are already included in the hl2/css model folders...

Maybe you know of some props that would suit an airport? lounge furniture. plants, palm trees (can't see one of these) etc...

i've got "mappers block" and can't see the woods for the trees syndrome!!

thanks for all the posts anyway, much appreciated
