[L4D] Ravenholm Beta

Yes, it's a complete 5 map campaign. It is going to support Campaign, Versus, and Survival.

For the past 3 months I've been working on this. Ravenholm itself was too short to be a campaign by itself, so I added on the surrounding areas. This worked perfectly to set up ideal starting and finale locations.

I'm going to get a beta release up eventually so I can get some bug and exploit reports.

how are you doing the part where in HL2 yougo into Black Mesa East, will it just jump to the ravenholm part, or will you do something else?

are you going to realease the beat soon?

Did you remake whole ravenholm, plus adding new areas?

Yeah, sorry about the massive delays. I decided to set it up for Versus and Survival, which has taken more testing and development.

I tried what I could to keep it as close to the original, but I had to add on side rooms and hallways to fit the needs of L4D.

I wouldnt do that, valve didnt do it and they playtested it allot more then we did :P

this is impressive, but i cant help but ask the same question with a different smell...

lets say we released a left 4 dead map with a bunch of half-life 2 specific stuff in it, such as the citadel in the background and a bunch of combine props, etc...or we made a left 4 dead map out of the aperture science levels in portal...

wouldn't that lead to the same "problem" as with releasing portal content with my episode 2 map? isn't it some kind of grey-area, nearly invisible "illegal" ?
