As a mapper I like to show my work to people.
I'm currently working on 2 new maps. One for CS:Source and the other for Western-Revenge (A Half-Life 2 modification).



de_island_b1 - A Counter-Strike:Source map.
This map is made for the mapdesign.nl contest.

that 3rd pic of de_island looks remarkably like the old Seige room xD

The second map looks like.. weirdness. Way to blocky and the hold in the wooden wall is kinda demented

Stick to working on Island, then the western one.

Yes, i tried to remake it with a few additions to make it fit.

about the second map, Its a western map in the western world. sure, those houses aren't done yet. and they still look kinda blocky. but futuristic houses won't really fit in this map ;). I'm working on it.

If you know how to texture, you should make a big sign that says the town name, then put it under the gate, make it a physbox and hang it there with ropes. It would be like those old western signs that sway and creak in the breeze. Sorry, idea just came to me there. :oops:

ok by me jut looking at the 3rd shot it has gave me inspiration, i will proabably map a room that is something like that, but its not copying its inspiration, i hope you dont mind.
