Alright, isn't much, but here you go along with information.

NAME: I don't know for sure yet.
GAME: Half-Life 2
TYPE: Single Player Mission - Sven Co-Op: Source - Tim Coop
RELEASE DATE: When its DONE.
COMPLETE: 40%
CURRENT CONSTRUCTION TIME: 2 Months, 17 Days

How I'm Building It

Useing the fact I have all the time in the world. No "Beta" maps will be released. This will be a full set of missions! This is NOT a zombie map. This has nothing to do with the combine invasion, or the people rising up against them.


Custome player models and weapons will be incorporated. I'm currently talking with the makers of Sven Co-Op and Substance about this. Tim Coop has yet to reply to any of my messages. I've also considered Half-Life 2: Scenarios but its not my cup of tea.


Testing is all LAN based. We have tested the Co-Op abilities slightly with the help of GMOD. To say the least, it was a shitty way of testing Co-Op. Then again the single player aspect trilled people.




Were is it set?
Well, you'll have to find out yourself. Lets just say, extensively underground military operations. Now before you go talking about resident evil and the hive, kiss my ass, this isn't anything close to it.

heh. funny, when you first came here i thought you were a big mouthed ass who didnt like the half life 2 engine. But i was proved wrong (once again) to see this. Im not saying its perfect, but seeing this makes me think you actualy have potencial (unlike me)

As i kow as a artist, its never good to pile up a bunch of stuff in one are. Thos zombies are very very close together and you can see a patern of their directoin,

Though good, it needs some more lighting effects and some more props for the outdoors

Well, those are NPC's. There is actually "something" in the building to the right that nailed them. Wouldn't be that hard to guess what, but most will guess wrong.

It isn't really that great, too dark, very dull and i'm sure you lifted that burning tunnel directly from the last C17 level :?

Supposed to be dark. You can been one of those noobs that turns there brightness all the way up so you can cheat if you want.

Actually, prop_static walldestroyed09a.mdl Then you build your own tunnel. But yeah I pretty much got the idea from the SDK map city_17. I actually cut and pasted.


Now, I have cars laying on the pile, but the end of the tunnel is on fire and you have to shut the gas off from inside the building.

Then this "THING" spawns which you only see zombies now cause the "THING" isn't completed.

NO its not called THING.

Well, who dosn't use models from the SDK? I was just as easy while I had it open to cut and paste the enity. :roll:

So the whole map is just a copy? :? That's not good mapping, not good at all.

No damnit. Here is a section (Hammer screenshot) that I've been working on this week.

Thats about two days worth of NOTHING. Still tons of details to be added. I tried this section out with that bloom effect mod and it looks really sweet considering all the lights in that section.

I'll post a screenshot of it next time I compile a test.

And its about 4 maps right now working as a single player/co-op based mission. This isn't for CS:S so whole map dosn't apply here.
