well this actually isn't a map. It just a building for a map I'll map sometime... tell me what you think.. I'm really not even close to being done. Obviously I have to add textures and reshape things and add rails/blah blah blah..Check out the 2 pics and check out how they are similar.

looks near identical :) - the buildings in the background would look gd as a 3d skybox :)

yeh is a little thicker - also noticed under the steps u will have to clip the brush to be slanted

thanks guys, yeah it still does need a bit of work.. I was actaully suprised how easy it was to make this.. there was alot of copying an pasting.

Yeah I relazied that I messed up on that after building it. THen as you said all I have to do is clip it and it will look soooo much more like that other picture.

I got the book Half Life 2: raising the bar. Very Interesting book! And I read this morning that they made that game by taking pictures or interesting object and building and they basically copyied them into a map. Kind of like what I'm doing above.

I think I might do some of that before going in to full scale Source mapping. :)
