The Neotokyo map looks very Japan.
The STALKER map looks very Stalkerish.

Thank you for the comments. I have become slightly motivated to finish the basic layout after I posted the screenshot. I wonder if it is possible to implement re-spawns in TDM and add the ghost as a tactical element (not to be captured).

I was working on this experimental Half Life 2 Deathmatch map for about half a month before realizing the design would backfire in my face. I decided to scrap the layout and start over with something better, so here is the geometry wip for all of y'all. (includes placeholder skybox and 2 custom textures.)

I don't know why anyone would want the map file, but Hollow Night decided to try and make a CS:S inspired from it. Some areas are a lot better than others and might be recycled into other maps later.

Chop, FINISH IT!!!!!!
Even if the design would backfire, that looks like it would be a sexy scene.

What exactly is it anyway? Looks like a sort of dam facility?

It reminds me of Kasperg and Playbus' style.

yeah I've decided to give this a stab at turning it into a CS:S 'de_' map using some of the original areas but reworking the style and layout (and size, it's fooking massive). Don't expect much news quite so soon as I'm pretty busy at the moment :?

Might as well chuck in one unfinished picture of something. Probably my last Source edit before going to different engines.

Basically I've been working on a horror level for my university dissertation and after researching horror it motivated me to make a mod in my free time. It was intended to be a third person puzzle solver like Silent Hill and I experimented with SDK Guru's third person VMF. Eventually I found limits and said to myself that if I could make this one room look good then I'll consider making the whole mod.

So anyway out of the blue came Flesh Mod which was what I had in mind only not as...weird. So I said screw it. Anyway the dresser model was giving me a hard time as I was still messing with modelling and texturing at the time.

TL:TR: A single room for a horror mod but died cause Flesh mod appeared and my modelling / texturing wasn't as good.
