The first picture reminds me of that one map that Something made ages ago for one of the map battles. Pretty damn cool map though, I'd love to see it in a mod.

Thanks : ) And yea it would be neat to port the map to some other mod, but unfortunately it uses a lot of Jailbreak's textures and stuff. Also I can't find much time to map nowdays, and when I do it goes with PVK2 :C

The base is actually almost done, but apparently doesn't appear in this pic. Everything except the greenhouse part was gonna be mirrored, retextured and relit to fit the robot team.


Iris door to the greenhouse. Would've been better as a model instead of brushes though.

Completely organically made, no design originally, just started off as a corridor.

\/ my first map, an apartment, i abandoned it after i learned about using the power of 2 in brushes.

this post was made appr. three and a half years ago. still, I wonder what this intrigueing apparent mapper's secret might mean. can anyone elucidate on this?

ps. wonderful mapping, Joe! there's a wonderful sense of realism and space in these abandoned maps.
