Here's some indoor pics:

I'm not gonna bother with furniture in every room because you would get stuck.

From the outside, it looks pretty good, but the inside is REALLY tight, you have to make everything a lot bigger in source... I mean people are half as tall as the rooms, so that can lead to some oddly sized things... The carved out ceilings, (not to insinuate that you used the carve tool, rather that they are at angles) look really low...

Good texturing though I think...

From the inside it's pretty realistic if you compare to the real house. And I did make it bigger so you could move around without getting stuck. But yeah, if several players are in the house, all trying to kill each other it's gonna be a mess.. luckily there's a outside.. otherwise this map would be totally useless for deathmatch.
Thanks..:)

Decalling the inside even just a little bit could really improve it, without getting in the way or hindering performance too much. Looking good though, and I think the geometry is actually quite nice. A few smart use of the clip textures could make it more playable if you think people would get stuck ect.

As for the bit you thought looked barren, I had a few ideas. Perhaps make a pond, with a few trees, rocks and plants around it? Or a fountain instead of the pond. Or a few, 'lightweight' blended displacements to add a little variety. Or perhaps some gravel, and form it into some sort of driveway. Possibly a shed instead, or a small outbuilding.

Just a few ideas. ^^

Gotta do something to the horizon though, maybe add mountains or just some displacements, an island..

I actually want some of the areas with trees to be dark, but yeah not everyone of them need to have shadows..

i still think that tunnel looks awful I must say, I probably should extend the displacements further instead of having those ugly rocks there.. or make a cliff..

Extend the displacement up to the tree line and remove those rocks. Or put smaller ones around the sides if you extend it.

A cliff would be better, enhancing the skyline.

Great work, the indoors shots really inspired me!
I just hope you're doing it for learning and for art's sake, because we all know that if you try to play a deathmatch in that map, the house will win every round...

Thanks, Refaelba.. yeah I'm not expecting it to be a good deathmatch map gameplay wise, but hopefully it will be fun..

VIS still taking ages, never finishes.. I guess that's what you get for using fast compile for a long period of time.. maybe it's because of the water, it takes up atleast half of the total 3d skybox..
