It's not hard, I'm gonna get round to writing a tutorial soon, with a couple of others aswell.

Yeah the desaturation really brought the map to life.

Is the combine tower in your skybox a Prop? I don't remember ever seeing in the MDL viewer.

I find it funny how the damned model is so big that my 3d skybox takes up about 1/6th of the whole mapping area.

My current WIP for my Single Player mini-mod:

This is kinda of an Industry company map. I still have to put some blue lights in, but it aint working out well so i just turned on mat_fullbright. The lighting is really pissing me off though, ill work on it soon.

Do you even need to write a tut? You simply set them to await reppel and make a trigger with startreppel...

PS, spas, turn fullbright off before I kill myself... Looks a bit prop hefty

I think the props match it nicely but it will look even better when you put in your lights.

Quick do it!

Looking alright spas, but you definatly need to sort out the lighting to some degree before you start showing off your maps.

Wiggle; much much better! The lighting in the first pic is great, but i would set the ambient lighting for the light_environment to light grey, about 100. That'll provide the shadowed areas in that screenshot with a comfortable amount of light,

The second screen is great! Feels nice. No complaints here. :)

That is one idea, but I think if you changed the colour to a very pale blue/gray, it would look much better. Even 3D-Mike says so!

Why didn't you just wait untill the lighting was complete? Then it wouldn't look... like it does?
