That's not bad at all, I like it, and the idea for the dumper. Maybe the texture inside should be more like construction equipment... But, it's your map!

Btw, nice window floating up in the corner on that second to last picture.

Here's a link to all of them, normal mapped and all that jazz, if you like them, use them. I don't really mind.

great work there, depending on who is attacking and who is defending depends on where this house would go, It would be good defensive but the hole would have to be farther away from attackers, so If the defenders are up at those two houses then that would be a great spot.
I like the dumpster Idea, reminds me of the "this old house" show. but the texture is really bad(the rubbish inside) and looks more like a trash dumpster then a construction dumpster. I also think you need to break up the second floor near the dumpster to better explain why the railings are missing...and you could crack that support beam...just for shits and giggles.

I'll probably change it to gravel and add some wooden boards and things, and that window is for the secret invisible house, so don't tell anyone!

And thank you much for the textures, i'll add you to the credits in the map if I ever finish it

Sure, i'll add a little more destruction, maybe break up some of the front railings aswell to limit the cover.

So something like this? Or more broken up? Ignore the floating stuffs

Oh, and improved the hole

And added some stuffs to the dumpster

This is the little section on the 2'ed story above the stairs, i'm not sure how it turned out, i guess I wanted it to look like someone removed part of the railing (and stacked up the wood for later)

That looks great!

Good work!

Maybe make the bent railing pieces in the last shot breakable. They seem strange at that angle, so making them breakable at least makes them seem weak...

I can make them phys objects, so when you shoot them or something they'll fall away

What If you cut away the rim of the floor on the top patio, so that where the support broke and the railing is missing, bits of the floor would also be missing...we'll say they had "water damage"

you know what I am getting at? like what you did with the hole but on the edge closest to the dumpster.

Sounds like a neat idea, but remember that this is all going (hopefully) into one map, i kinda need to keep it optimized and neat otherwise it'll turn into a headache to get it all working
But i'll see what i can do with it

I have to say, it's looking quiet snappy now!
But I am a little worried it looks a little too nice for the destruction in mind, it'll look kinda weird to have a perfect sides and back but a smashed up railing and such.

But anyway, here's how it looks so far. I changed the siding to a yellow one, I think it gives a nice bit of color.

looks nice for now, If you can aford splicing the second floor (as I mentioned) AFTER the map is "complete" that would be nice...but I would say on to the next section...

you going to do another detail house? or work on the center more...or work on the streets (add sidwalks, fix the texture, light poles, alleyway?

lot of work to do eh?

those house walls look way to flat, have the windows indented a little.

this is getting me excited, but I still worry that your houses will be great, but the landscaping will be lacking (in comparison), but I guess I shall wait untill you have more houses built...

Hm, so what about having the house have dirt, something like this?

Of course i'll add more things, I was thinking maybe a small chain-link fence (some of it knocked away), a couple signs and construction equipment and stuff, make it looks like a job site.
