I understand this thread marks my 1st post on this forum however I would
greatly appreciate it if you could simply take less than 5 minutes to refer to the above posted link
and see if you are interested. I have a great deal of respect for this community and therefore I have posted this thread to see if any of the talent mappers or mappers in general from this community would be interested.

Everything you need to know is outlined within the original post.

As horribly time-consuming as it is, you should totally compile that with a lightmap scale of 1, and get some sexy-crisp shadows to compliment those amazing textures.

Anyways, several questions:
  • What kind of copyrights are there on these textures?
  • Are they all done by you?
  • Are they free to use by anyone, or only for this project?
  • Can we use Counter-Strike: Source textures for our submissions?

What kind of copyrights are there on these textures?
These textures are in fact created by TopHATTwaffle from FPSBANANA.com

They are free to use however once they are used within this mapping project, full credibility will be given to
this author.

Are they all done by you?

As just stated, they were created by TopHATTwaffle.

Absolutely.

Can we use Counter-Strike: Source textures for our submissions?
By all means, go ahead. However I recommend you use these textures for your house construction. I
too have Counter-Strike: Source but I didn't need to use any of the textures since this pack seemed too
good to be true.

In addition: If you refer to the original post link: http://www.zombiemaster.org/smf/index.php?topic=9608.0, an entire "House Development Package" has been created for those who wish to join the project.
This Package includes:

1.) The dev_house.vmf file for the house within the pictures. PHOTOSHOP WAS NOT USED, THIS WAS ENTIRELY INGAME SCREEN-SHOTS.

2.) Two Texture Packs including:
- TopHATTwaffle's RealWorldTextures.zip
- [DNv]Cross' Textures from his map cs_suburb_beta15a. "I have recieved permission from him to utilize this content."


Join the Project! I have a few members actively involved at this time. I need approximately 6-7 Submissions for this project to work out nicely. The rest of the suburb houses will be created by myself, as well as the neighborhood.
