As Major Banter said, you did well on the discplacement job, you could always manipulate the displacements like you've already done in the top area from the overview, or add lines of trees, or perhaps add a more rocky 3d skybox? This wouldn't make the rocks look as much out of place as they do now.

I am never good a giving crits on an areal view...If anything it would be along the lines of "you could use more landmarks"

Haha, Jgoodroad, I always know or expect to see a comment from you. Suffice to say I know you will always be trolling these foums... this is where I embrace your shoulders and thank you for your contribution, people like you keep me going, and the fact that I can remember you, zecrah and banters name make you special...

Banter... sure when I get home I will give you one or two more screenshots... but I am trying to keep it... well less than before. I just dont wanna show everything that the mod has to offer, just enough to wet the tongue.

one or 2 more shots are quiet acceptable...however it depends on the content... you could have 100 screenshots of the same thing and still show us nothing...or one screenshot that reveals everything.

Sometimes I think with clever camera placments it makes it look like I know how to map >,<.

really dark in certain bits... and now I really do think you need more landmarks. all I see is a house (main hub) and a waterfall.

otherwise I really like the effect you have with the displacements in front of the waterfall...they look surreal.

There isnt a waterfall, its a prop_static with one of the episode two light models. But now that you say it, I should make a waterfall, it would add an extra... landmark, as you would call it.

Truthfully, I placed it there about 5 minutes into making my map, I didnt wanna forget I wanted it there. Now I havent really meshed it into the map, its just "there." WIP... WIP... WIP...

But your both right, what would cause light to become more visible in that area? I might just CTRL+X it =S
