A HL2:Ep2 map I'm making mainly for practice purposes. Haven't added any textures yet and am just using normal lights.

yeah, nothing to really comment on if it is still this WIP, but if the lighting in the first pic represents fture lighting, you might want to rethink that layout.

Light entities are noobish in less used correctly. I suggest you look at http://www.interlopers.net/tutorials/17779 and http://www.interlopers.net/tutorials/29797 and this for the building http://www.interlopers.net/tutorials/9816 Those should help a ton with the lighting and the last one is kinda for fun.

Yeah, I haven't done any advanced lighting yet, i just wanted to light up areas so i could see them ingame.

Looking good. You could just use fullbright. Would speed up development compiles and light everything, making it easier to dev-test. Either by using the console command mat_fullbright 1, or by not having any light entities, causing it to automatically enable fullbright.

Only thing is, and it's hard to tell from here, but the room sizes could become a bit uneven. Like the massive chamber in the first screenshot, then the smaller corridor with the combine, then the larger one with the crates/double doors and so forth.
