Well this is what I have so far of my map, please comment and suggest things that need adding to the bridge and surroundings, It will be bigger obviously, I'm just trying to get the bridge just right.

I know, I'm not totally re-creating it, I'm just making my version.

Well honestly, it looks like crap.

Add the bricks in the loop on top of the tunnel, and make the top bridge part popped out a litte, to add depth.
Small changes like that will make it look good.

You should also remove the displacement part from inside the tunnel, doesn't really make sense.

Don't make your own version of it; copy it exactly. That is the only way you are going to be able to 'make your own version' of anything.

Well as a novice mapper, it's hard to recreate things exactly as they are.

Plus if you've seen my latest pictures, I'm getting it a bit closer to how it is in real life and the sizes are pretty similar too, I should know seeing as I live right near the nutbrook trail and i've been there a few times.

Looks way too big, and I don't know if I've ever seen a tunnel that curved around the bottom like that, unless it's a tunnel for water to pass through.

No, softie, that's exactly my point. As a novice mapper it is hard to create things that match their appearance in the real world. However, it is much more difficult to just make stuff up and have it look even remotely believable. Therefore, start with copying real life imagery as closely as you can since this will give you more experience and give you an appreciation and understanding of the type of object you are trying to create.

Inside and outside brick arches don't match.
Bricks in the arch should line up texture wise.
Arch should pop out a little (5 units, maybe) jut to give an effect.
No texture variation.
It's boring and your brushwork is "flat".

Long story short: Keep on trying till you get it right, because we were all noobs at one point ^_^
