Hopefully I'll actually finish this. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, good or bad, just so long as I get feedback.

After looking at those pictures for the 4th theme, I was inspired. I droped the other map I was working on (which I do a lot), and started sketching ideas with that website's photos in mind. This is the beginning of this map. This is the first map that I looked at photo's to get idea's from, but it definatly won't be a last. It has helped a lot. Everyone should do it, if you don't already

DM_Industrial is set in an industrial plant, duh. It will be a gigantic map when its done, and will feature both indoor, outdoor, rooftop, and underground stages with multiple levels setting up a great deathmatch map.

Here are some beta snapshots. There will be empty doorways, area's where it looks like there should be buildings, walls etc, and there is no 3d skybox yet, but just ignor those and imagine something there. This is no where near done, and I have a lot of debuging. I need to put more lights in, fix other lights, etc, so the lighting is not final either.

Tell me what you think.

Yea, It's too dark. I can see the main room, maybe the brightness on your comp could be contributing to that. But I will be adding more lights and updating screenshots probably tonight still.

nah thye dont load slow its ur comp. but yeah the pics are too dark, all i know is that u added a swinging light.

Actually, I don't have a swinging light in it.

I have added more lights and its compiling right now. Hopefully I can get them up tonight, but I have school tomorrow, so I don't know how long I am willing to wait.

I just copied one of the pics to my paint app and brighen it. I can see right off you textures look way over streched, looks more like blobs of color.

They are not stretched at all. All textures are at .25 size. Maybe when you put it in paint it stretched it.

when you make screenshots it always gets darker so brighten up hl2 and then make screenshots... although, i've seen enough :twisted:
