Progress for two models that will be used throughout the desert theme zone and Rebel Fortress,

This first solar panel will only be use on high terrain where the player can not reach and there will be a smaller model whit much more detailed used on the ground level.

I'm curious as to who is on your team behind this.

And a word of advice. I hope you've got a story and your gameplay features set down before you've started level design.

It seems slightly odd that your lengthy post on what you have planned for this mod is taken pretty much wholesale from a review for the 2001 pc game Frank Herbert's Dune on gamespot (a game that, funnily enough, scores rather poorly within that same review).

HMMM Now this doesn't seem as cool...

Sure you didn't just steal the idea, or just forget to call it a remake?

I saw the thread title and immediately my mind began to swim with ideas. 'Prehaps this is what I have been waiting for, the project that I can throw myself into and finally achieve something with!' I thought.

Instead I found a rather incongruous mess of ideas (but not lacking talent). Initially I was dissapointed, but now I have found something I did not expect: entertainment. I fear this thread will be littered with the blood and tears of many 'lopers before the lock has fallen.

erh why? he is just a beginning modder who (like many) made a thread with his mod idea
maybe he ripped off the interview but at least he doesn't have a shitty attitude like some newbies :)

at least he's making that stuff himself

The core of the idea maybe the same but the story and gameplay is much different as i said in my pot "much more to come" i wasn't referring only to maps and model's and beside the story will not be the same and the game rated poorly because off the glitchs and bugs in the game and off course like everyone else i did some research before throwing out my ideas(I dont have a paid dev team to think for me) and nothing is set in stone, changes are sure to come to the concept of the game :)

And i little advice for the troll's out there stop posting if you can only express your self thru staining this topic in a bad manner or comment and start encouraging people so they could actually fell good off participating in developing not just in a mod but in the good feeling of just creating stuff, because like meny othere's like me, you get a good fealing when i see good comment or a good criticism about my work and it only stimulates me to make more and better.

I think the point here is you came off as the usual
"Hai guys im making a mod!! check it out.
*one picture of one map*
yeah i need a mod team"

So give them the benefit of the doubt, you started pulling out some interesting stuff.
But just dont be another begger, maybe you have something going here.

I feel some of the interlopers here have over-reacted, not once did I read that he was asking for anything, much less a team... he didn't even ask for a god-damn voice actor... all I would think he could want from interlopers is kindly advice. I mean just look at his posts, you can tell that not only is he not one of those generic newcomers with high-hopes and no concept of modding, but that he actually has some skill, even more skill then me, yet some of you are not even phased... the first post in response to a seemingly good picture was of how it should have been in the map-pimpage thread, which (as an FYI)has a tendency not to give consecutive results, with some maps being buried in the swarm of other maps. really now, I thought you guys were cool... perhaps you have taken your "tough love" approach a step too far, or perhaps I have been ignorant up until now... thinking that only the best of the best was granted the approval of the all mighty interloper gods. Then I posted a few of my pics on another web site... nothing much... just a few WIP shots of my Overwatch map, and even though I thought the pictures were sub-par (by "your" standards) I was still greeted with a 100% positive feedback AND constructive critizism. I fear interlopers might be slipping into the black hole that is "the internet"

a pit full of trolls, pedobears, and clowns... and not the good kind.

and to catalin001, on behave of my fellow lopers... I am sorry.

I am also very disappointed with pk_hunter... not cool man, not cool
