Here is a simple gungame map im working on. This map would have been released a while ago but while in development my harddrive died so I have to remake it. :(

I think he may have been referring to the... well... all the grey. I personally don't like grey/orange "textured" maps, but I'll keep that to myself (this assuming you won't be getting rid of the dev textures). As far as the design goes though, I think it looks pretty nifty. Lighting could always use some work so I'm glad you'll be revising that.
-Spongebob what are these visleaves doing here? You said you were gonna optimize 'em!
-But I am optimizing leaves.
-But they're still all over the map.
-Sandy I can't optimize any faster these are BIG visleaves... and they keep breaking into more leaves!

So should I stick with the dark theme or maybe make it more like in the evening? I like the darker feel it seems to fit the textures.

I like the darker theme as well, but be sure to use some lighting to highlight a bit more of the architecture, some spots feel a little TOO dark.
