[l4d2] NAPOM DEATH

Postby THORFINN on Fri Jan 28, 2011 2:59 am

Hi I've been hard at work on my second Vietnam map, it had a slow start but now I'm almost done with it i just need to add more trees and fix some funky looking stuff and make the finale/panic event work

But mostly I'm concerned about my lighting/environment, so how does this all work? Can it be improved? Shots taken at all the lighted areas of the map

I would turn down the brightness value for all of the lights except the one in the last image.

Okay, first of all, tone down the lights. They make parts of the map look fullbright. Light sources also need sprites(env_sprites)

Something else is wrong that I can't put my finger on, did you increase the sharpness(?) or contrast(?)? What ever you did makes some areas look better while others look worse.

Something for the safe room, make it darker, add support beams across the roof and air ducts, maybe even some pipes.
Have a question related to modding or something I posted? Something that needs staff attention? I haven't been active lately, but feel free to PM me or message me on Steam(link below)
