Something tells me that there is already a CS_Warehouse. Oh well.

Complaint #2 kinda bland textures, but I'm sure you'll fix that. Try alpha painting the grass!

That is an absolute no-no. Why did you put a window texture on a wall that doesnt have a ceiling!?!?

Other than that, looks pretty cool! Good blend of props on the inside

anyways, I'm going to be very honest with you so please dont take offence. If you dont want to hear my honest truth then skip this.

First of all, your map is just a flat boring box with some walls tossed in there (it seems). With out the props your map is just flat and boring. You need to break up the long flat walls with supports, trim, detail brush work, etc.

When you build an area, you need to try and base it in reality. Even if its a space station think of how it would look and work, and what everyhing would be used for. In this shot your hostages are just stanging around in an empty back ally place with a HUGE fence what has no supports or any kind of detail. Then there is just a bunch of random junk behind the massive fence.

This wall is a foot thick, yet it is covered with big windows. Is there no inside? Why didn't you just use a normal brick wall?

what is that cat walk for? It doesn't fit in with the theme thats going on (though the theme is hard to detect).

This is a good example. You didn't take any care to texture this room and with out the models (which look like they were just randomly tossed in there) this would be a box.

Did some one air lift that in? Players will pick up on things like this that are out of place, and it will draw them out of the game. You need to make the player feel like he is in a location that is part of a real world. This is just a random prop in the middle of a blan outside area.

again, think about this place as if it were a real place. Who would place a light on a window?

I see 1 unit thick floor and ceiling, that is a no-no just isn't practical you shouldn't be working with grid smaller than 8 (maybe 4) you'll run into alot of problems doing things like that.

ok, you wrote 50 lines of text about things he probably knew. Of course he can see his map is a box, of course he knows all the other things you said... i just typed something in 1 line you typed in 50, so who is the ass hole? and by the way i wasn't kidding.

Yoshi you never have anything good to see, and this is my first map anyway so how is it my "best" even though it sucked.

One thing i dont understand, you said in the last shot you posted and said "random props that dont fit together inside a flat empty room"

That is the main factory area there are 4 factory machines and a generator cart, and a couple of truses at the top.

The fence is to block people off from them.

edit: the room that has props in that are everywhere, its a storage room.

Ill change some of the propes though.

edit2: You say on one of the shots did someone air lift that in, there isnt even a prop there except for the light model.

yes i dont get it either. I like the last shot the most. I don’t really see random props in it. and i was nice to you, i said it was your best map ever :-)

yes and that is the problem. like zombie says, have you ever seen a light placed on a window? but except from that, i think you should never use brush based windows...except for in 3dskybox and things..
