well hello i started a map in hammer again, this time for halflife 2 deathmatch
well here comes some pics ( i havent played so mutch with the light properties yet so dont think of the lightning to mutch)
infact all of the pipes in that screenie arent shadowing light correctly, they all appear to be emitting it. 3rd screenie, the sprinkler pipes just end...it kinda seems odd for them to do that, but if this is just some hallway that ENDS suddenly, leave it, if it goes on into another room, make it continue on.
well the map looks nice but you might try to change the lighting.
Sure the lighting looks great but looks very similar to original HL2 maps. Trying out a different light style might even prove more better. Since that green kinda atmosphere is quickly becoming common in maps nowadays.
in any case, the map still looks great, and although there are many mappers that will use the style of hl2 to base their maps on, so far this one looks to be a step above the rest in detail.
