I have also got this thread up on wold, because i like to have as much feedback as possible.
I am a prop modeler for an alien swarm mod. And because iv got some plans to start in the game industry in the future i decided to make a scene on the source engine where i only use custom textures and props to showcase my skills.
I have stumbled down on this scene concept on 3d total, inspired me to start this scene.

So i am first starting to block of the main scene first, Blocking it off with brushes and only using dev textures at the moment.
Some pics of the first stage, progress will continue further, ill post new progress pics after a couple of days. This will be a long project i will do in my spare time, beside working on the alien swarm mod.
Feedback would be great. And when the project is done, i will upload the map so you can walk threw it in hl2:ep2, and i will upload the textures and models, + the source files(smd, max, qc files) for free use. Because i want to help out beginning mods to have a basic model collection they immediatly can use.

(1024x1024 textures at the moment, i keep it this big, so when the scene is done and i upload the textures etc, people can decide on their own if they want to lower the resolution.)
