How about using propper to turn the windows in to a prop? If lighting is an issue you could give them slightly bevelled frames so that they protrude from the much simpler wall geometry.
Mappers Top Tip #548
Lighting: The arrangement, hue and intensity of one or multiple light sources.
Lightning: A dazzling discharge of electric sparks in the atmosphere, often preceding thunder.

Playable area (may be a little longer due to end and front caps where stairs go)

Some progress was made for content (the side doors), but I was spending my limited time the last couple of days getting it to compile again. More content to come soon.

Whereabouts are the wings going to attach? At the moment it seems like they'll have to be off-scale to fit around the doors and windows?

Wings are gonna be in the middle, and doors and windows aren't final position wise.

They kinda are dull and shitty, but it was mainly for size reference.

The hull needs to be higher ... you need a freight hold ... and that does not fit in your hull, I think. You should look at some pictures of the A380 again, for reference. I think the hull is more oval. Otherwise, I am looking forward to it. The wings look fine, for placeholders, a bit fat perhaps. Hopefully you are going to add some random anims on the rudders on the wings. Just small movements :-D

Could be a little bigger on the bottom, but not much. And BTW I am using the a380 as a reference, but I am not going all crazy overboard on the specifics, mainly just for contour and general structure.

I'm no plane expert or anything but I don't think passenger planes have doors above the wings, because the mobile staircase things wouldn't be able to reach them.

Then again, I doubt anybody would really care in the heat of battle and it might be fun to run around on a wing! Liking the progress so far. :)

Oh and forget about wing walking, stepping anywhere near or outside of a open door will pull you out of the plane and into certain death unless the round ends before you hit the ground.

Bottom half of the plane is roughed in now. New sofa and bar props (bottles, glasses, snacks, just haven't compiled those yet). Still need a few more props for essential feel before I can move to the next deck, but I plan on getting a lot of work done today.
