[Alien Swarm] Forest

I was thinking of doing an Alien Swarm Campaign but basing it on Earth, I wanted to make the levels a little bigger so you can roam around a little more maybe find some hidden stuff, like journals and ammo and such. Not too much bigger though, don't want to make the file sizes too big. One thing I want to do, well one thing I did was port over a lot of materials and models from previous valve games. My main issue i'm worried about is will I get in trouble with valve for doing that or not.

I Have been working on this for a couple days now, haven't gotten a ton done, but I don't want to get too far and have to scratch everything because of using the models and stuff from other valve games. Just not sure about copyright issues.

I doubt they will care. Also get some height variation in your map, it's a forest.

Of course, there is soooo much I have planned for sure, next update will have a bunch more displacements, I was fooling around with it since its that angle top down, in order to be able to tell there were displacements, they have to be bigger than I wanted but I have an idea on how to accomplish it. I'll be updating the thread alot.

Valve doesn't care AT ALL about porting content from one game to another, so go ahead
one good example is that they featured that City17 l4d2 campaign on their blog and hosted it on the official servers.
