Update 24.8.12
The video that i said i would upload, I'm looking forward to seeing if anyone can make a nice map to go along with the concept.
I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be ported for counter strike source aswell, or though the server would need the cssdm addon.
what i plan to do is make a clone game style of the battleground arathi basin from world of warcraft for hl2dm made entirely in hammer.
Basically there is a maximum amount of supplies that you're team has to get and the team to reach the maximum first wins the game, to get supplies you're team has to capture flags the more flags you have the faster you reach the maximum supplies, there are 3 flag phases:
first: this is how all the flags start out before anyone gets the chance to capture them, they do nothing.
second: this is the pending phase after someone captured the flag, for a short time the flag is worth no resources to the team who captured it.
third: after the pending phase the flag will change to benefit the team that captured it by adding to the supplies, if the opposing team infiltrates it, then it will go back to the pending phase ready to turn into an enemy flag.
I'm not very good at making nice looking maps so i need someone to handle that for me, paying special attention to the positioning of the flags so that both teams have the same distancing, i'll do the rest.
