Hey guys, this is my first map, which Ive actually been developing as part of a uni assignment. Wont bother adding the img's to the thread as theyll probably break the layout, but a pretty big index of pics can be found at:

Not really prepared to release the map yet, Im one of those people who has to have everything perfect before I let it get out ;) Ill post some more detail and rundowns on the map asap.

the forum auto-scales the images to fit into the thread.

looks like youve got some nice geomatry going on there, but some places are just way way way too dark.

Yeah, it is a fairly dark map by design. Im trying to get a more stealth flashlight+nv approach going in some areas of the map to slow down the action a little, as it is a fairly small map. However ive found from play testing that it looks great on a TFT monitor, but on most CRTs its too dark. Which is a pain because ive been designing it on my TFT then I take it to a mates place and cant see a thing :evil: All going to get fixed up eventually.

Very nice for a first map, tons better than my first.... I kinda like dark maps actually, anyways. Yeah, everything looks good, maybe add a few more props and try to use a lot more overlays, it's a great way to make the map seem less bland.. anyways gj on what you got :smt024

All the pics seem like shots of lights or dark areas. In one of the first pics, the brick wall texture does not work with the opening. Also have you try adjusting your gamma in the game to match a crt?
