[CS:GO] DE_Seaside

Seaside is a bomb defusal map set at a port. The map features areas where attackers can jump over hazards to take shortcuts or move around enemies without creating odd or gimicky gameplay.

I think it looks nice, and have a few suggestions. Although all I'm seeing is a flat image, the scene looks very 'still'. Perhaps some nice wave ripples around the docks would sell the 'sea' theme a bit more. Also some area's look a bit too clean, what I love about docks and fishing ports like this is that they are so mucky! You get that orange rust over everything. Perhaps you could throw in a load of plastic crates too to make this seems like a well used fishing dock.

Anyway, good work

Just a small tip. If you've got multiple maps you want to release, it's better to just consolidate it in to one thread. All your maps look pretty nifty though, so good job.

My thoughts after 10 rounds as each team:

Some areas feel unnaturally open. The biggest one is that room the T's run into right when they start. Also, if you decided to go to A as T, the "fence" that is on the left is much more of a wall and kinda feels out of place.

I absolutely love both bomb sites and their immediate areas. I think they're set up perfectly for skirmishing. The size of the map is interesting. I do like the small set up. Makes rounds, especially with bots, go by quick but not too quick.

My overall thought of this map is that it should be an Arms Run map. I think that would serve it well when it comes to game play. The different weapons you've earned your way up to would force you to use certain parts of the map over others. Even if you don't take that advice, I think it is an excellent map in both gameplay and beauty. Only little tweaks needed to give it an official release!

That fence hides an occluder so I double sided the metal paneling. Could use some extra detailing to blend it in. Not really sure what I want to do with the interior section. I feel like it needs to stay open the way it is but I dont have any great ideas for detailing. Maybe chopping up the floor or something.

I think this is the best looking map of the three you presented here.

You should add some industrial style lamps to the beams. They don't need to be switched on, but would a) add detail and b) be realistic to have in a warehouse.
