Just thought I'd pop these up for viewing. Fiirst Compile, about 6 hours work. Still major WIP but this is what I've done so far. Still looking a bit bare and a few glitches with some of the stuff. And yes, I know those white vents stick out like a sore thumb. I'll ditch those later.

Things I like:

- Mood and lighting (spot lights! ;)).
- angled stairs (i appreciate things that take time :))
- Those arches, and getting the inside arch to fit perfectly with the outside, not splitting the brushes (i hope!).

What I don't like:
- That one silver vent prop. It's not adding anything and just doesn't quite fit, if you know what i mean.

I like it, much better than most efforts mate.

Thanks. Yeah, I was expermenting with that silver vent, didn't turn out to well - it shall be removed at once. The ropes, yeah I love them. Best thing about Hammer 4. :wink:

Still needs some tweaking and some extra detail in places but its pretty much done. 3 days of constant labour, woo.

And this massive space that the image resizing leaves is a pain in the rear, si. I'll ask Q to fix it. :wink:

For some reason I thought this was a HL1 map, it really reminded me of that Hammerfall level, the inside bit. I think it's the textures and the sky exposed. But yeah, looks nice.

Ropes for the win

That massive space is Firefox btw.

If you want that steam to be the colour you chose (providing it isnt already) toggle the emmisive flag. That way it will keep its colour and opacity but will always stay the colour you choose and not change with the lighting i.e go from it original white colour to dark grey.
