[another WIP]DM_Bridge

ok... i get bored of making maps... i get bored quickly, but this one has got me excited for sure, i feel like ive so far outdone myself, anyways, a quick description: its basically two large cliffs with two bridges connecting them... basically... i wanna try to make this map quite large and give it a unreal tournament kind of feel.. dunno why, guess its cause i miss Ued, but anyways, screenshots are fun...

as you can see ive only got one bridge done and am starting on the first cliifside, there are basically gonna be some ruins on one side and signs of a combine incursion on the other side (y'know, cool combine stuff n' junk), so at time of posting i would say its around abouts 15% completed

updatified :D more screenies, at the moment its about 25% done, yes i know, i fucked up on the skybox (i forgot to reset the sky texture to sky_day01_09) and there are a few unsightly cracks in my displacement cliffs, im also thinking of adding some lighting to the bottom floor of the ruined bunker, and im gonna add another bunker nearby, once thats cleared up, its on with the combine side, then the final clean up and the beta release :D

(another update)
hail, i come armed with yet more screenshots, ive also thought of a theme for the map: combines are attacking a rebel camp which is located in some converted WW2 bunker ruins, but anyways more screens (sorry for posting so much but it keeps me motivated)

now heres a question, on the rebel side there is still a pretty empty space, suggestions on what to do with it?

It rocked till acclaim fucked up the whole series with evolution. Damn brits. I'm glad to know they don't make online forums where people can go get help with designing levels for video games.

im thinking of writing a tut on how to make respawnable combine hopper mines too, thats if i can get them to work on my map :D

Looking very nice, although tone down the lighting in the bunker, that bright circle on the roof looks sketchy.

The structure is looking impressive, but at the moment it's a little dark. I do really like the bridges however!

And, uh, good lighting there ;) Although it looks like you left the light_spot part out? Just needs a bit of illuniation to show off all the details there.

nice - spot lights make it so much easier and makes it lok gd. Old HL it was all textures for spot lights etc.
