hi again , well i started to build a map for hl2 sp heres the begining, i got alot of work left to do. i will post more pics later on.

veeery nice, although it is a tad blocky, might wanna round off some of the corners and it will be very ravenholmish :D

well nice to see you paid atention to had some detail to the map, but the buildings are a bit square, just had more variation to them and maybe some angled corners

you people really like your rounded edges and slanted walls.
Some maps just don't need it, with all the detail he is putting into the map i just don't see the point in throwing in an odd slanted wall here and there, also it just doesn't suit the textures he's chosen. Brick building's tend to be built with right angles.
You could just throw in some rounded props to satisfy these people so their attention is taken away from the parallel lines.

I was thinking the same thing... my suggestion would be some rounded (or even square) pipes/trimming at the corners of the buildings/walls to break up the square box like conjuctions.

and not everything is a box in real world.. it just looks boring, good maps are more then a bunch of boxs put together ;)
