This will be my first map release. I still need to work out a few things, such as fixing a memory error that has been crashing my game and getting the hostages to work. Let me know what you think by these screens.

It looks ok, but somethings missing. It looks kinda bland. I am not sure whats missing, I can't put my finger on it.

Alright this is going to be harsh.

First off your texturing is terrible and so is the brushwork..everything is to sqaure...I dont know why you would post screens of a map that looks so bad. The prop placemement is also terrible and they make no sense...and last off there is no theme for this map, what is it supposed to be?..A couple hallways with bad chosen textures and random props?..even some lights have no solid prop for them...I know this is a WIP but why would you want to post this?...If this is your first map then good job, you should be succesful mapper...but if you have mapped before then you should def. get better before you post screens of a map like this

ouch.. even I felt the burn on that one.. but he does have a point. The straw baskets have no place in an urban map. The texturing isn't the worst, but in that second screen, the tiles are very repetative. Also, in t second screen that room is way to empty. :)

EDIT. I know I'm drunk.. but I wrote a hell of alot more than that.. so I guess I'll write it again...

Just keep adding simple details like props and maybe some rounded corners and it could turn out pretty good. the graffiti adds a nive touch, but don't over due it. Keep it up!
