I was planning on entering this map in VALVe's mapping contest but alas, i'm 16, so i've kind of lost inspiration. I've decided i actually want to finsih a map though, so im continuing with it. My problem is, i'm fresh outta ideas. Anything ventilationally themed is good :P

If you can't load the screens, it probably means ive exceeded my pissweak bandwidth limit :?

I can only see one red room and and another room with some monitors, have you made more or are those screenshots just not showing it all?

I like the monitor though, nice little touch.

Yea thats basically it so far. Notice one of the four fans down the bottom is missing, possibly leading to some more map fun, and btw when you go near the other 3 u get sucked in.
Im looking for ideas on what could be in some other rooms.

A large area with some deadly spinning fans would a laugh, players could slip in there or get pushed in during the heat of battle. Just try to spice things up.

I've discovered the torus tool, so big, round tubes await! with fans of course!
Maybe some kind of storage bit with tubes galore and spare fans/blades? sound ok?

Yeah try to get a nice amount of detail in without going crazy, use the rounded pipes tutorial for a start, and get some good lighting going on.

Looking Good- One thing though. Your brush work is good as I can see from those screens but it looks like your texture placement isnt so good. For istance you used the same texture on the cieling as on the side or "trimming" of the walls in the first screen, and it doesnt look good. Your texture placement isnt very interesting at all either.
