Definitely wouldn't hurt with rougher dist, but that's just me.

Yeah, recently I stopped putting too much distortion on my tracks, mainly because I wanted a bit more clarity in the riffs, but I'll tweak it a little as i make more. Its definitely some of the most technical stuff I've made!

I was gonna say that it was quite technical, which is sweet. I've been thinking of trying my hand at more technical stuff myself, but the direction I'm going in now is more of using orchestral strings to back my guitars up.

I think what you could do is have the backing guitars put through stronger distortion while the lead guitars get a more clear sound, possibly even with slight delay. That's the way I usually go and it sounds great.

Just uploaded this one. It still needs a lot of work but I got the basic structure down. Figured I'd upload it and get some opinions. The intro is totally a placeholder so it's...doodoo. There's no real closure to the song either.

Very awesome.
What VST's do you use for the string and brass instruments?

I like your stuff mky. The atmospheric/chill stuff is cool. You're also pretty good at piano.

I made a liquid DnB song. Not sure how successful I was. You definitely want to play this with a sub or a headset with really good bass response. I used a sinebass that has crazy low frequency.

PS: It's free to download, if you actually like it.

Yeah it's a real simple sine bass from Nexus. Works wonders.

Nub I remember you've redone this song so many time lol. I always liked the original the best, but this is pretty good.
