Correct audio settings?

COuld someone tell me what the correct settings for a wav which I'll be using with an ambient_generic should be? At the moment my sounds are 32bit floats with a sample rate of 44100Hz. Apparently source doesn't like this and refuses to play the sounds in game whilst giving me an error about an unsupported 32bit float sound.

Thanks,
Andy

I believe it must be 16 bits at 44100hz

Exporting from audacity at 32 bit worked though, strangely!

Yup that will work for .Wav files and also

PCM or ADPCM
Stereo or Mono
8bit or 16bit
11025, 22500, or 41000 Hz
