first of all i probably need to tell ya that i aint got experience with qc files in general, the reason that i need to figure it out is that i promised to help a friend with his mod. He uses the male_animations.mdl file from hl2 for his player models but it didnt worked out the way he wanted so he asked me if i couldnt take a look at a few of the crouch idle animations and correct them.
So, i decompiled the model file, imported the .smds to 3dmax, corrected them and exported them with a different name as an .smd file. But when i took a look at the generated qc file, by the modeldecompiler, i have no clue how to add the smds i created to the qc file. Maybe there is a friendly person outhere who could tell me how i can manage that
Edit: Since i just realized that some of the crouch walk animations came out broken out of the decompiler it aint a good choice to use the old male_anims.mdl file for the new animations. So i guess i need to make a new model file for these animations...oh boy :/
