Importing Custom Models into Faceposer

Usually, when i need to add a custom model i put it in the steam/username/halflife2/hl2/models folder. How do i get these into faceposer???

it seems to default to the source models files... something i dont know how to add models to. any ideas? Im trying to get a custom gordon freeman into it for use on an upcoming project.
