Maya: Imported skeleton has weird rotation axes

when i import half life references, some of my rotation axes are weird like that, they also rotate with other axes (like Axis x rotates when axis y is rotated)
This causes some unwanted movements

maybe someone knows how to fix this, google or my own brain didn't help :?
