The look of this mods style is very pro. Almost reminds me of when I first play Unreal Tournament.

thanks ;) for the suport

im happy with 3 weeks trial and error and the result i made in my free time after work and in the weekend
the last weeks i textured,modelled,sketched concept art,texture coding(vtf),compiling my first batch of halfpipe bricks.... into hamer

Looks like a fantastic idea. For getting the weapons stripped out, you might want to consult the coding forum. I look forward to playing!

I dont let it die im reviving it for 3 years now :P and improving the gameplay and building and modelling but in stil in a beta stage stil got some nasty bugs on spawning the ball :P (but this can be solved)the score boards are counting in the right way the main core building blocks are ready(stil need to build and design special ones like floorparts,and extra props like comercial signs,the goals ;) im thinking of let them float in mid air just lolr the floating bill boards i want to make bit a futuristic clasic look.... and ive saved some poligons on my ramps but since i do everything my self my progres is a litle slower....

my workflow :

first i think and use my imagination
then i do some sketching&measure
Then i open up max and start making polygons &build the colission mesh
then i make the texture
then i unwrap the texture around my model...
then i export
then the fun starts..... writing the damed qc files
then compile and pray :P

so keep in mind im stil in beta modus ..... and im testing it already while building..... i use a second pc so that i can test with 2 players ......
so please be patient.

maybe im planning to recruit a team.... but thats after the first beta build need to have someting to show them..... to my opinion aircastles do not sell

You all remembered what happened to source ball..... i dont want to make that same mistake.......
thats why you cant find a website of my mod or an add on moddb....

the weapon strip is an a simple thing you can add in hammer.... you can choose wich weapons the player should have wile he spawns...

seroiusly, you did all the halfpipe stuff as models, must have been quite expensive CM's then e.g. for the corner Halfpipe.
I really would like to see the CM of that one.

colision model in the inner en outer ramp are 16 colision mesches a piece ;)
the strait pieces have 4 colision meshes the bridge is the most expencive....... with 20 colission meshes for the left en 20 for the right
what you see is not one big model for the halfpipe ;) the ramp corner is 2 models my first colison experiment was 1 outher corner ramp with 32 colission mesh pieces :P(see picture below lol32 colission mesh pieces in red)
i used 8 for a big loop in hammer itworked lol

thats why i only use 16 now.....

tonight i decided to make anoter screenie of the progress :D
inthis picture you see a few new models :P including the roof dome(including colissionmesh) wich is part of the surounding stadium wich will also be build up out serval parts to build lots of variated stadiums :D
i also changed the size of the ball 64x64x64 was to big it blocked the view lol its dimension is now 32

I'm having a massive wave of nostalgia. This reminds me of that one Quake 3 mod ages ago..called Q3 Pong if I remember.

P.S. I'd totally be willing to lend a hand or two if you need it. Don't care if its in beta or not...if you're interested feel free to PM me.
