I've made a custom prop with animations but have run into a problem, after compiling the model the animation in the half life model viewer comes out different to the animation in 3ds max, It like totally ignores the weighting I did and uses the default weights.
I'm wondering if all verts on a mesh have to be weighted to a bone ? also I didn't include a root bone could this be the cause of the problems ? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
