i'm gonna reply the shit out of this
assuming you use Softimage you need to do the following:
1. press 8
2. expand one of your polymeshes by pressing the '+'
3. click on 'Geometry Approximation', not the '+' but the gradient-icon next to it
4. press "NO" when it asks about the shared properties
5. go to the 'Polygon Mesh' tab and check of "Automatic"
6. select all your meshes
7. click '3' on the keyboard
8. click on 'Texture' > image
9. down by 'Texture Projection' click 'New' and choose whatever you want
(what texture you use doesn't matter, the default "noIcon" image is ok to use)
10. freeze your meshes by clicking the 'Freeze' button to the right under 'Edit'
11. freeze all your transforms by clicking 'Freeze All Transforms' under the 'Transform' menu, also to the right
After following this simple 11-step program you should be all set for exporting! I'm guessing you are aware that physboxes can't contain concave shapes and that you need multiple convex shapes to make something appear concave.
Hopes this helps!
