Several mod questions (Co-op)

Hey!
I'm currently working on porting a mod from Singleplayer to Co-op. But, there are some problems:
1. I can't chat. Ive tried to write in console "say blabla123" and "say_team blabla1321" none works. When I press Y ingame, the game acts weird, and if I press escape I can't get back into the main menu

2. When I shoot, or melee something, it doesnt leave a bullethole decal, and it doesnt make the "hit"sound it usually woudld, BUT when the other player does it, I can see the bullet hole decal, and hear the "hit" sound, but he cant see it himself either. So you can only see it in clientside 3rd person kinda.

If you didn't understand anything, or may have a solution please add me on steam, and I could send you a copy of the mod

I think you have better luck using the multiplayer code and then add all the single-player entities in it.
