Problem whit dynamic shadows and flashlight

Navigate to
X:\Steam\steamapps\<account>\half-life 2 episode two\bin\ and delete vidcfg.bin. Launch EP2 and see if anything is changed.

I tried to run L4D2. A window appears with an unknown video card. In other games I do not see.

I run l4d and l4d 2 changed to high quality and still shows no dynamic shadows (demonstration on video.)

About that problem.. I also have a MEDION pc (actually 2 :3) but my laptop doesn't even have a graphics card. It runs on the i3 CPU only. And I can enable shadows and max out everything if I want to :/ Maybe I could hook you up with a config file that's maxed out

I know this is ment for hammer editor but I'm pretty sure that it also affects your other Source games. (At least it did that to me)

Medion makes shitty computers hope this helps. I refuse to believe your laptop is performing high graphics using only the i3.

But my the shadows on laptop work a few months ago. i3 not used (integrated graphics) but Nvidia GT 425m (run Crysis at the highest detail)

No. Downloading the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website.

use 3D Analyzer and see if you get those options

I ran thart recently new game EYE with it and man it looked great!

Wait... Do you have shadow detail in advanced options set to high? If not, that's your problem.
