Looking for some help with creating some complex textures.

1. fast moving textures, whats the quality limit on them before they look distorted.
2. need some help with Skycards and or Sprites.

pointing me towards tutorials would be great. actual hands on help even better, but I dont have much time as of late so idk when I would be available.

Skycards can be done with transparent textures on flat brushes. Textures can be any 2^x resolution, but you will have to mess around with scroll speed to see what looks best.

Thanx. I was looking at some of the skycards in game and they are actually props. I wasnt sure when I posted which would be better, to make a sprite, model, or brush it. Brush is much easier for me as im accustom to it, but I'd also like to learn newer things. As for the textures I know about the resolution limits. was wondering more if a 32x32 texture scrolling at high speeds looks similar to a 1024x1024 texture, what the apex is where quality is obscured by speed.
